The Burj Khalifa named in his honor
Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan was also emir of Abu Dhabi, the richest of the emirates. He had previously been crown prince to his father, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, from 1969 to 2004.
