At the end of next month the Star Wars Celebrationa major event for fans of the universe originally created by george lucas. Whether it’s bringing in special guests, offering exclusive collectibles, or revealing big plans, Lucasfilm has done it all. Thus, for several years now, this event has become an opportunity for fans to discover the next projects of lucasfilm. So here are the ten things you could expect from Star Wars Celebration 2022.

An official announcement of season 2 of Star Wars: Visions

The animated series Star Wars: Visions was a resounding success last year, giving Japanese anime fans the Star Wars experience they’ve always wanted. And Cinelinx reports that the second season of the series could be released as early as September or October this year, with a first look at next month’s event. The first season had given the various studios great creative freedom, allowing them to appropriate and interpret the richness of the history of this universe in their own way.

Although Star Wars Celebration is primarily an event dedicated to the Star Wars universe, Lucasfilm also has plans for Indiana Jones 5 as well as the series Willowsequel to the eponymous film released in 1988. The first day of the event being dedicated to the presentation of films and series, Lucasfilm could then show what they are working on outside of Star Wars. Knowing that the last movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull released 14 years ago now, many fans are hoping to see Harrison Ford talk about the long-awaited film.

Since the release of the first video game in 2019, a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is under development. Electronic Arts had then formalized the development of a new opus at the beginning of this year, and some sources suggest that developer Respawn Entertainment could release the sequel by next year. Some industry insiders then confirmed that the game Jedi: Fallen Order 2 was going to premiere at next month’s event, leaving fans eager to continue the adventures of Cal Kestis.

First look at season 2 of The Bad Batch

The animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch ended with an explosive finale, with fans clamoring for the next adventures of this elite squadron of clone troopers. Originally scheduled for this spring, the second season of the series has finally been postponed to an unspecified date.. Official announcement of Tales Of The Jedi

Tales of the Jedi would the name of Lucasfilm’s next animated project. The details of the series are still unclear, but it would be an anthology series. Matt Lanter recently revealed that he recorded lines for a series that has yet to be announced. Kevin Kiner, composer of The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch and Rebelstalked about it with The Directand said: “Lucasfilm and Disney give us a full orchestra for every episode. It’s a very special project, big, big people are involved”. An informant would then have reported that the project would be revealed this year. And if the title is any indication of what the series could be, it’s possible it borrows elements from the comic book series of the same name, which became the basis of Knights of the Old Republic.

Official announcement of Grammar Rodeo

According to LRM Onlinethe pre-production of a new Star Wars series began under the working title of Grammar Rodeo. The series will be filmed at Manhattan Beach Studios, the same location where other Disney+ series have been filmed, such as The Mandalorian, The Boba Fett Book and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Plot details for the series are yet to be known, but it is set to take place during the High Republic era., a period that begins 200 years before the events of The Phantom Menace (1999). And recent information has revealed that actor Jude Law would star in the series. He would play a Jedi Master, supervising a group of padawans. We would also find Jon Wattsdirector of the trilogy of Spiderman from the MCU, who is expected to lead the series.

Revelations on the cast of the series Ashoka

The hype for the next series Ashoka continues to grow and the casting rumors for the characters of Thrawn and Ezra have been pouring into the depths of the internet for quite some time now. Canadian actor, Mena Massoud, having starred as Aladdin in the 2019 remake, is considered the frontrunner for the role of Ezra. And for the role of Thrawn, fans overwhelmingly chose Lars Mikkelsenhaving already played the character in Star Wars: Rebels.

First official trailer for Andor

Lucasfilm intends to further explore the period between Revenge of the Sith (2005) and A new hope (1977), notably thanks to the next series Obi-Wan Kenobibut also with the new series Andor. This series will then bring together an impressive castwith in particular Forest Whitaker in the role of Saw Gerrera, Ben Mendelsohn in that of Krennic or Genevieve O’Reilly in that of Mon Mothma. The series being planned for this year, everything suggests that the Star Wars Celebration 2022 will be the opportunity to present the first trailer for the new Disney+ series.

Surprise announcement of a sequel to the third trilogy

Rumors of a sequel continuing the adventures that occurred in the Rey and Finn trilogy have been circulating for some time now.. After Kathleen Kennedy met John Boyega and Daisi Ridley last year, fans began to speculate about their possible return.
