Top Indian Sportspersons with the biggest ad-deals check who’s on the top


Forget on the field, Indian sportsperson is winning it off the field as well. When it comes to brand endorsements, Indian sportspersons are bagging multi-crore deals with various brands and companies to endorse products.

Event though cricketers are winning the brand endorsement game hands down, many sportspersons such as Abhinav Bindra, Saina Nehwal, Gagan Narang, etc are also bagging deals worth crores.

The latest to join the bandwagon of multi-crore brand deals becomes cricket’s current heartthrob, Virat Kohli, who has just signed a Rs 110-crore deal with Puma, pegging him right up to the order.

Here are Indian athletics who are winning the endorsement game

PV Sindhu

As per a report in Times of India, Olympic silver medallist badminton Player PV Sindhu bagged a Rs 50 crore endorsement deal for three years from various companies.

Saina Nehwal

Saina Nehwal is the highest paid sportsperson outside cricket. she has bagged multi-crore deal with Kellogg’s Edelweiss Group, etc. Saina signed an endorsement deal worth Rs 25 crore with IOS sports and Entertainment. She signed around Rs 4 Crore deal with Edelweiss Group.

Sania Mirza

As per the 2015 Forbes Celeb list, Sania’s earnings from endorsements and BWF World Superseries stood at Rs 13.25 crore. Sania Mirza is the brand ambassador or Adidas, Wilson, FabB, Vencobb chicken and now Telangana.

Mahendra Singh dhoni

Sachin Tendulkar was the highest paid player in cricket before captain cool MS Dhoni took over. So far, Dhoni is believed to have endorsed 50 brands with an estimated endorsement fee of over Rs 500 crore. MS Dhoni had endorsed 18 brands in 2017 which fetched him a remuneration of $ 27 million. Dhoni charges Rs 1.5 crore per day.

Sachin Tendulkar

After retirement, Sachin Tendulkar brand size has reduced when compared to 2013. He is the brand ambassador for Luminous Power technologies,, BMW India, Aviva Life Insurance, MRF, among others. As per a report, his brand endorsements in 2014 stood at Rs.75 crore.

Finally, Virat Kohli is on the top

He just signed a Rs 110-crore deal with Puma, joining the likes of Usain Bolt and few world’s famous footballers. Prior to this, Kohli signed Rs 30 crore three-year deal with Adidas, Rs 6.5 crore deal with MRF, Rs 5 crore 18 month deal with Audi India.
