Supreme Court Removes Anurag Thakur as BCCI President. The Supreme Court today ordered the removal of Anurag Thakur as chief of India’s Cricket Board BCCI, India’s Supreme Court has ordered the Country’s Cricket Board chief to Resign for failing to implement reforms.

 

The Court on Monday told Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Anurag Thakur to Quit as BCCI President.

The Names of Sourav Ganguly and Brijesh Patel are doing the rounds as the Next BCCI President while Ganguly is the President of the Cricket Association of Bengal and Brijesh Patel has run the Karnataka State Cricket Association For a period of Number of Years.

The Former Indian Captain was also a Part of the Justice Mukul Mudgal Panel said that they Probed the 2013 IPL betting and Sport fixing Case.

Cricket is the Most Popular Sport in India, The BCCI Secretary Ajay Thakur has also been told to resign the post as the President of BCCI fo Indian Cricket.

The Court said it would appoint observers to run cricket administration in India Until a new President and Secretary was Appointed for Indian Cricket Future.

Running BCCI was not a Personal Battle but a battle for the autonomy of the Sports body.

If the Supreme court Judges think that BCCI Could do Better under Retire Judges.
