Not only the hammer-blast sixes, the Indian Premier League dependably brings a ton of energizing stuff, both on and off the field. During the second match of IPL 2017 between Rising Pune Supergiant and Mumbai Indians, a diverting occurrence unfurled when MS Dhoni chose to have a “go” at previous IPL teammate and England batsman Kevin Pietersen.
It was Manoj Tiwary at first slip, who was on Microphone, talking with commentator Pietersen, when the IPL teammate England skipper stated: “Manoj simply just tell to MS that I am a better golfer than him.”
Tiwary was seen properly passing on the message to Dhoni after a delivery. “Pietersen kah raha hain woh aapse accha golfer hain (Pietersen is stating he is a better golfer than you).”
Dhoni inclined towards the microphone connected with Tiwary and answered with a straight face: “But you are still my only Test wicket!” Pietersen was seen laughing.
For the record, it was in reference to a couple of overs that Dhoni bowled during Test match against England at Lord’s in 2011.
Dhoni had caught Pietersen leg before just to be overruled by the DRS.
This is the first week of the spectacular league and we have had some sublime minutes so far in the tournament. On Wednesday, amid the opening experience between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore, SRH batsman Yuvraj Singh Hammered the Bangalore bowling down some pins and scored 27-ball 62 during the course. Afterward, Sunrisers won the match by 35 runs to begin their battle effectively.
