In 2013 Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings and players were aware of the allegations. Two teams have been dropped from the IPL. However, there is another latest fixing incident. They were arrested by the IPL Anti-Corruption Department in cooperation with the Uttar Pradesh Crime Branch police. Police have seized Rs. 41 cash from them. Earlier on Thursday, the Delhi Police busted a similar racket where six people were arrested in Shahdara area in East Delhi. Speaking to reports of an official confirmed the arrest and seizure of laptops, mobile phones and LCDs among other things.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Kanpur, has said that role of two Gujarat Lions players is under scanner. Possibility of Shah being in touch with these two players has not been ruled out, but has not been confirmed yet.
