Jose Mourinho is not idealistic about the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo, after the pair got injuries in Manchester United’s 2-1 Europa League win against Anderlecht on Thursday. Ibrahimovic, 35, fell late in the second half as he went for a lofted ball and seemed to hyperextend his right knee when arriving before the match went to additional time tied 2-2 on total.

 

Prior in the match, Marcos Rojo was stretchered off subsequent to being hit in the knee while going in for a challenge.

Anthony Martial replaced Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rashford hit the winner for Mourinho’s team in the second period of additional time to send Manchester United through to the semifinals rounds of the competition by a 3-2 total scoreline.

After the match, Mourinho stated: “I don’t think they are simple injuries, however I want to sit tight for every one of the tests to be done tomorrow.
