Karnataka, Bangalore Band on April 28th :- After the Kaveri Water Sharing issue ha became a big sensation in Karnataka and with the words of Baahubali Actor Sathya Raj comments that fired the Movie in Banglore on 28th April 2017, the Pro-Kannada organization in Bengaluru have now set their eyes on the Forthcoming release of the Baahubali 2.Protesting against the release of Bahubali 2 in the state of Karnataka, several Kannada organisations led by former MLA Vatal Nagaraj have called for a day-long bandh on April 28.The anger of the Kannada organisations is against the Baahubali artist Sathyaraj (in pic) who is acting the role of Kattappa in the movie.
Addressing media persons, Vatal Nagaraj said, “Our dissent is not against the movie Bahubali but against Sathyaraj who had made derogatory comments on Kannadigas and Karnataka leaders. We want him to apologies to the people of Karnataka and only then will we allow the screening.” How Ever the Movie Baahubali 2 Director SS Rajamouli has clarified that the Sathya Raj had made those Comments nine years ago and till now around 30 films starring Sathyaraj have been release in the State of Karnataka.

Several organisations have also taken objection to Bahubali 2 being released directly by its producers. The film has not been sold to any local distributors. The organisations have written to theaters owners across Karnataka asking them not to screen the film.
A publicity meet of the film that was organised for Thursday was cancelled. A release stated: Due to unavailability of spokespersons the meet is cancelled. A representative of the film’s producers is said to have met the representatives of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to resolve the issue. On Wednesday, there were rumors that Rajamouli had spoken to veteran Kannada actor Ambareesh who also heads the Kannada Cine Artistes Association.
