The producers of controversial film Lipstick Under my Burkha released another song , Le Li Jaan. The song, composed and sung by Zebunnisa Bangash (some portion of the Zeb Haniya twosome), depends on a prominent Afghani folk tune. It’s lyrics are penned by Anvita Dutt.
The song shows the four lead characters opposing set societal standards. Lipstick Under My Burkha chronicles the secret lives of four feisty ladies who are chasing their secret fantasies.
Swimming lessons, hair shading, shake out sessions in a shut room, bar moving, sex in enclosed spaced, improper selfies—’Le Li Jaan’s’ video has it all.
The movies stars Konkona Sensharma, Ratna Pathak Shah, Aahana Kumra and Plabita Borthakur in lead parts.
The motion picture is around four ladies who are driving four separate fights for their freedom. The producers had an intricate fight with the Central Board of Film Certification ( CBFC) for its ‘woman oriented’ content.
Overruling the censor board’s refusal, Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT) has issued “A” or “Adult” Adult to women’s feminist drama and it at long last discharges on July 21.
