Rishi expressed gratitude toward individuals from the Hindi film society for showing solidarity towards Vinod Khanna’s family.
“Much thanks to you my film brethren for your solidarity appeared towards the Khanna family. Hum mein ab bhi insaniyat baaki hai (regardless we have mankind left in us). Loveall of you,” Rishi tweeted on Wednesday night.
Vinod Khanna passed on last Thursday subsequent to spending a month in a rural Mumbai hospital. He was 70 and had been battling cancer.
The prayer meeting for Vinod Khanna on Wednesday was attended by the majority of the performing actors and on-screen actresses. Rishi, who had worked with Vinod Khanna in a several movies, was irate when no young actors attended Vinod’s funeral. The performer even said that he should be set up for his own death as very few stars from the film industry would pay their respects to him in the event that he bites the dust.
